Somewhere every day someone gets up and rides their motorcycle to work or wherever ..everyday. Rain or shine whether they like it or not. Their bike might not be the fastest, the flashiest, the oldest or the rarest and it's not even a concern, they use it every day and it gets the job done. They probably don't blog about it, define themselves by it or even think much about it at all. They just ride a bike because.
With that said - now back to the crazy people

Dave Barr

Every time I'm on a road trip. I think back to this book and Dave Barr. Double Amputee who rode his fully loaded up 800 pound 1972 Harley FLH around the world .. including across Africa, South America, Siberia..and all with two prosthesis for legs. I highly recommend this book to anyone that's ridden anywhere on a bike. I think of him often when I feel totally stranded out in the middle of nowhere and how he managed.. puts it all into perspective, and every problem I encounter pails in comparison.
